A year ago, at musicRioja, we took on a new challenge: designing a tool to help wind instrument musicians effectively work on their air column, breathing, and endurance while playing. That's how the Pasin Respirator was born— a simple device, but packed with technology, innovation, and purpose.

During the first three months of development, we dedicated many hours to CFD simulation-based design and, above all, direct collaboration with teachers and students. We took advantage of the summer to conduct tests in real study conditions, receiving valuable feedback that allowed us to adjust key design details: resistance levels, ease of use, compatibility with mouthpieces, and indicator visibility.

Thanks to this collaborative work, we were able to launch an initial model that already met essential needs. But we didn’t stop there. Once on the market, musicians themselves helped us identify new improvement opportunities: greater precision in air regulation, a clearer visual system, better ergonomics, and even full compatibility with the C26 Digitizer, allowing for simultaneous breathing and fingering practice.

Today, the Pasin has evolved into a versatile, effective tool, perfectly adapted to musicians of all levels, from students to professionals. Available in 16 different colors and specific versions for each instrument, it has become part of the daily routine for many trumpet players, trombonists, corneters, and tubists who are looking to improve continuously.
